THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.

Contractor's status will be verified through SAM and SBA. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond.
The MICC-Fort Jackson may issue a solicitation and award of a contract for “Fort Jackson Generator Monitoring,” subject to availability of funds. The MICC-Fort Jackson is seeking qualified, experienced and capable sources to provide equipment, equipment maintenance and monitoring for up to 20 generators located at Fort Jackson.
Federal environmental regulations 40 CFR Part 60 Subpart IIII, JJJJ and 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart ZZZZ require the owner/operator of generators to maintain records on-site of the date of operation and hours of operation for every start-up. Fort Jackson’s generators are located at various sites throughout the installation, and most are difficult to physically monitor due to a lack of manpower.
Existing wireless cellular devices on each generator send data to a monitoring web site that provides real-time monitoring information, alleviates the need for additional personnel and enables the installation to meet regulatory requirements. Full details are provided in the attached performance work statement.
The place of performance is the Fort Jackson South Carolina 29207. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal no later than 1400hrs on 29 May 2024 by completing and signing the Source Sought Information Request Form (link to form below). Please return this via email to:
tonya.l.goines.mil@army.mil and jason.m.fronden.civ@army.mil. Include the following in the subject line - Fort Jackson Generator Monitoring. No facsimile responses will be honored.
