The Mission Installation Contracting Command – Fort Jackson is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) in an effort to perform market research to assist in determining the acquisition strategy for Custodial Services at Building 9574 on Fort Jackson, SC. This is a non-personal services requirement to provide custodial services in support of the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Academy.

This RFI is to identify potential Small Business contractors for this requirement; see attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement and Floor Plans to assist in square footage calculations. This RFI is for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation.

In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. Responses to this RFI should include the following submittal requirements: Name of Company; Company Address; Point of Contact, CAGE Code, and Socio-Economic Size Status (Large/Small Business/HubZone/8(a)/Woman Owned Small Business/etc.)

Utilizing NAICS code 561720 – Janitorial Services. A detailed statement of the company’s capability to perform all tasks. Any questions about the requirement to provide an adequate proposal if solicited. Rough order of magnitude of estimated staffing requirements. Responses to this RFI shall be submitted by Thursday, 29 August 2024 at 12:00 PM EST to marvin.t.briscoe.civ@army.mil. Only e-mail submittals will be accepted.
