USAG DPW Maintenance and Repair Airfield Lighting System

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command – Fort Bragg (MICC - FB) has a requirement from the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) to procure Airfield Lighting Control Systems (ALCMS) maintenance and repair service (does not include bulb replacement).

The Airfield Lighting and Control System is the interface between the air traffic control tower and the airport lighting systems located at Simmons Army Airfield and Mackall Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.The Government awarded a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis, IAW 6.302-1 to Global Access Supply, Inc. in partnership with Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds for the Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System (ALCMS).

It is known that Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds owns and is the only authorized supplier and servicer to these products at Simmons Army Airfield and Mackall Army Airfield. The ALCMS is provided under propriety restrictions which limit license sales to a sole source. FAR Part 12 procedures will be used to procure these services.
