Description

As published on SAM.gov.

Edited to add Q&A Set as of 10SEP2024.

Q1. Could you please confirm that features are supposed to be 120VAC input and not 20V input? A1. It is supposed to be 120VAC. This is to ensure the dome can be powered from any facility or generator that provides 120VAC for conversion to DC. This package includes a Mean Well power converter that converts 120VAC to 12-24VDC required to power the DRS4DL+ dome. Q2.

Also in the design section they mention a 24in dome but that setup from Furuno does not match the requirements exactly, however the DRS2DNXT 19in dome does. Please confirm that the 19in dome is sufficient? A2. Yes, 19in dome is sufficient and NOT 24in. We initially researched the Furuno DRS4DL+ which is 19in. Q3. Is there a specific chart plotter with Power over Ethernet they are looking for? A3. The Chart Plotter is a Garmin Chartplotter 8000 series that includes the PoE option. Q4.

Any PNs for the on board charger or DC deck mount plug? A4. The DC Deck Mount Plug PN is Scotty 2125 Depth Power. Requirement for 4 each Mobile Radar Kits for the Florida National Guard Counterdrug Program (FLNG-CDP) Air and Marine Reconnaissance Team (AMRT) current Furuno radar lacks many of the mobility and technological characteristics required for success while operating in discreet and harsh coastal environments.

Through market research, AMRT has determined and identified the need for 4 smaller mobile radar packages to enhance AMRT maritime and land operations. Radar package requirements include the capability to remain discreet in highly populated areas, include a TZtouch3 portable radar kit built on a platform that is coupled with 12-inch multi-function display. Additional requirements include a solid-state pulse compression doppler radar with a powerful open-array antenna that fits into a compact 24-inch radome.

Radar package should be configured for quick on the go maritime and land operations and can be deployed within 30 minutes in support to LEAs during maritime and land operations. See attached Purchase Desription for details and Specifications and Combined Synosis document for Apllicable Provisions & Clauses. Parts Breakdown added as additional attachment.
