Subject: Award a Sole Source Contract to Boilerplate Studios. FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source (except brand name) The U.S. Military Academy, Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), West Point, NY award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, Deep Signal Software System, and components, for existing proprietary requirements. FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source.
This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals.
The proposed contract is for creating high quality visual products to include digital remapping, pictures, renderings, and videos of the Hudson Valley during American Revolution, using existing media materials developed by Boilerplate Studios. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).
For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
The Mission Installation Contracting Command - West Point on behalf of the United States Military Academy (USMA) Department of History intends to award sole source, firm fixed price contract to Boilerplate Studios, LLC. Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for digital remapping, pictures, renderings, and videos of the Hudson Valley during American Revolution.
The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541360 Geophysical Surveying and Mapping Services Manufacturing with the associated size standard of 1250 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet all aspects of the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
