Reason for amendment is to add Set Aside Code and to extend response date due to delayed publishing to PIEE.

New Water Tank Truck~ ENGINE/POWERTRAIN~ Engine: Diesel, Minimum of 300 horsepower (HP). - Transmission: Automatic, commercial grade. - Drivetrain: Dual rear axles, inter-axle differential lock (interlocking capability). - AXLE/LOAD DISTRDUTION~ Front Axle Load Capacity: Minimum of 20,000 lbs. gross weight rating, = 10,000 lbs. per tire (two (2) tires total). - Rear Tandem Axle Load Capacity: Minimum of 40,000 lbs. gross weight rating, = 10,000 lbs. per tire (four (4) tires total). - TIRES~ Quantity: Six (6) total tires. - Type: All-terrain tires suitable for combined on-road and off-road operations. - Spare: One (1) full-sized spare tire mounted securely on the vehicle. - WATER TANK~ Material: Corrosion-resistant steel or aluminum. - Capacity: Minimum of 4,000 gallons. - Construction: Internal baffling for water surge control. - Manhole Access: One (1) top-mounted manhole, with a minimum 24-inches (610 mm) diameter access. - Hydrant Hookup: Minimum 4-inches (100 mm). - Level Indicator: Water level indicator or sight gauge. - Drain: Bottom drain valve and clean-out access. - SPRAYER SYSTEM~ Front Sprayers: Minimum of two (2) retractable spray heads. - Rear Sprayers: Minimum of two (2) retractable spray heads. - Sprayer Operation: Operator independently controlled flow rate and spray direction. - Pump: Hydraulic or PTO-driven commercial grade water pump. - FEATURES~ Cab: Fully enclosed cab. - Climate Controls: Air conditioning and heating. - Seat: Adjustable suspension or air-ride operator seat. - Control Panel: Ergonomic control panel reachable from operator seat with all functions clearly labeled. - Safety: Rearview mirrors, backup alarm, mounted fire extinguisher holder and reflective markings. - Lighting: DOT-compliant headlights, brake lights, turn signals, work lights, and warning beacon. - Manual: Factory operator manual and maintenance manual. - The Water Tank Truck must be new, a refurbished, rebuilt, or used water tank truck will not be considered acceptable.
