Inspection, Testing and Certification of Fume Hoods, Biosafety Cabinets, and Cleanrooms at Bassett Army Community Hospital, Fort Wainwright, Alaska

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – Pacific intends to issue a within scope contract modification to contract W81K02-22-P-0120. The referenced contract was awarded as a competitive procurement to VTG, LLC under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items.

The services that are being performed are non-personal services of for inspection, testing and certification of fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, and cleanrooms, in a fully functional condition in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturers specifications at Bassett Army Community Hospital (BACH), Fort Wainwright, Alaska. This modification will affect Options II and III. The period of performance remains unchanged.

The anticipated date for contract modification is on or about 13 December 2024. The purpose of this modification is to add retesting services for Options II and III for the fume hoods, biosafety cabinets and cleanrooms under this service contract (CLINs 2010-2015, 3004-3008 and 3010). This modification is required to provide retesting services for the fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, and cleanrooms in the event that the regular testing fails. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201 and 5.203.
