The Army Contracting Command - Redstone proposes to issue solicitation number W58RGZ-25-R-0076 for a follow-on, five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) utilizing Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and Cost Reimbursement (CR) Contract Line-Item Numbers (CLINs), for each delivery order issued under the IDIQ contract.

This award will provide the capability to procure a quantity up to 2,675 Head Gear Unit (HGU)-56/P Apache Helmet Assemblies (AHA) and up to 12,675 HGU-56/P Rotary Wing Helmets (RWH) for Army Aviation and Foreign Military Rotary Wing Aviation, along with associated parts. Pursuant to 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 3204 (a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”.

This proposed contract action for engineering services/Post-Production Support Services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source: Gentex Corporation, 324 Main Street, Simpson, PA 18407, CAGE Code: 97427 Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES.

However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
