AH-64 Maintenance and Overhaul of Nitrogen Inerting Unit (NIU)

This Sources Sought Notice is to research the number of large and small business capable and interested in the prospective procurement. The U.S. Government is seeking sources to inspect and overhaul the NIU.

1560-01-587-1028 - PN: 3261029-0301 Estimated Quantity (QTY) 130 Each Minimum - 312 Each Maximum Maximum QTY includes FMS QTY of 52 EA. The Contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul. The NIU is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). There is not a Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) to support the overhaul of the NIU.

Delivery Schedule: The anticipated delivery schedule is 180 days from receipt of asset.

Corpus Christi, TX 78419-5255. This acquisition is anticipated to be awarded in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract) with a 24 month period of performance with two priced ordering periods. This is a sources sought notice.

No contract award will result from this Sources Sought notice, and it does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government in making an appropriate acquisition decision. The Government does NOT own the technical data package (TDP) for this action. The TDP is held by Cobham Mission Systems DA (CAGE Code: 99251).

Interested offerors responding to this notice must be able to demonstrate that they have access to the TDP or how the requirements can be accomplished without having this data available and without incurring significant additional costs.
