Heads Up Display (HUD) hardware and Post-Production Support (PPS) Services

The Army Contracting Command - Redstone proposes to issue solicitation number W58RGZ-24-R-0061 for a new full rate production (FRP), five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price (FFP) contract. This award is for purchase of the Heads-Up Display (HUD) hardware and Post-Production Support (PPS) services in support of US Army requirements.

The action is a sole source requirement for the needs to procure up to 1,405 HUD units and associated services. Pursuant to 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 3204 (a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)” Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”.

This proposed contract action for hardware and services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source: ElbitAmerica, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems of America (ESA), 4700 Marine Creek Parkway, Fort Worth, Texas 76179-3598, CAGE Code: 0WEC9. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES.

However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
