Delivery Schedule: The anticipated delivery schedule is 90 days from receipt of asset.

Delivery Location: TBD This acquisition is anticipated to be awarded in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 14, Sealed Bidding. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract) with a 60 month period of performance with five priced ordering periods. The Head, Rotary Wing is a Critical Safety Items (CSI) as defined by DFARS 209.270-2. As such, the overhaul can only be performed by an approved source.

Depot Maintenance Requirement (DMWR) 1-1615-312 has been identified for this requirement. Currently the known approved sources for the overhaul of the Head, Rotary Wing are The Boeing Company (CAGE Code: 8V613), PCX Aerostructures, LLC-Newington (CAGE Code 82001), AAR Aircraft Component Services-New York (CAGE Code 3Y015), and Professional Aircraft Accessories Inc. (CAGE Code 08XL0).

Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the M&O SAR Guidance. Additional information on SAR process is located at https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR/. Offerors are advised: THE GOVERNMENT FULLY INTENDS TO EVALUATE PROPOSALS AND AWARD THE CONTRACT WITHOUT DISCUSSIONS WITH OFFERORS. Therefore, initial proposals should be submitted containing offerors' most favorable terms.

The is a presolicitiaton notification, NOT a solicitation. No proposals or bids shall be submitted as a result of this notice. The closing date annotated is an estimate date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. The solicitation will be offered in electronic format only. No hard copies will be provided.
