Sources Sought for Automotive Gas Turbine (AGT) 1500 Engine Program FY26-FY28Q2

The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Detroit (ACC-DTA) is issuing this market survey questionnaire to obtain information on industry capability to satisfy U.S. Army and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements for support of existing Automotive Gas Turbine (AGT) 1500 engines. The survey is intended to measure the level of industry interest in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition.

The potential acquisition is for Fiscal Year (FY) 26 through 2nd Quarter FY28, to be awarded a hybrid Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract. This Market Survey neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation to Bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. Additionally, as a Market Survey, this inquiry does not bind the Government to solicit for or award a competitive contract.

Participation in this survey is also wholly voluntary on the part of the contractor, as no reimbursements will be made to any contractor for ANY costs associated with their participation in the survey. Suppliers are encouraged to submit written notification of their interest, qualifications, and technical concepts to Thomas Monette, thomas.j.monette6.civ@army.mil, by no later than 4:00 PM EST ten (10) days after posting of Market Survey.
