Synopsis: Joint Service Aircrew Mask - Rotary Wing MPU-5 & MPU-6 Components

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE / SYNOPSIS The Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to solicit for the Joint Service Aircrew Mask – Rotary Wing (JSAM-RW) MPU-5 and MPU-6 components identified below. The forthcoming solicitation, W56HZV-21-R-0130, will be a total small business set-aside and is anticipated to result in a five-year, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract. The solicitation, and any subsequent amendments thereto, will be issued electronically to the System for Award Management (SAM) website. The Government will not maintain an interested vendor list. Therefore, it is incumbent upon any interested party to obtain the solicitation, and any amendments, from SAM. Failure to obtain any amendments, and to respond to them prior to the date and time for receipt of offers, may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in its rejection.

Interested vendors shall not contact ACC-DTA seeking the solicitation as it will not be available for at least 15 calendar days following issuance of this synopsis. Also note that there are technical data packages (TDPs) associated with this requirement. The TDPs are either distribution code "C," which limits access to U.S. Government agencies and their contractors, or distribution code "D," which limits access to Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. DoD contractors only. The forthcoming solicitation will contain instructions on how to access the technical data. TDP access will not be granted prior to solicitation issuance.
