Army Prepositioned Stocks -4 (APS-4) Japan Watercraft

APS 4 WC: The contractor is responsible for the APS 4 WC and Modular Causeway Systems Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS), Exercise and Maintenance program located at WC Equipment Base - Yokohama North Dock, Japan. The contractor provides complete technical, operational, and logistical support functions required to maintain U.S. Army WC in mission-ready condition. The term “mission-ready” means maintaining the WC in a ready-to-issue status, so it is clean, habitable, fully operational, and fully certified.

When the Government issues the WC, the contractor ensures it is fully equipped with all basic issue items. APS 4 WC supports military contingency and humanitarian operations in support of U.S. Pacific Combatant Command Area of Responsibility (AOR). The APS-4 program is a service provide under the Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) program which is an Army preferred source.

The class J&A for this action was previously posted on 27 November 2023 under the APS Bridge Extension Justification and Approval notification (notice ID:23-054). As such, the J&A will not be reposted as part of this notification.
