VMware

In accordance with (IAW) DFARS 205.205-71 and PGI 206.302-1(d) the Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) is issuing the subject sources sought to seek sources capable of providing VMware for all Department of Defense agencies. This requirement is for the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) bundle and VMware vSphere Foundation (VVF) bundle to provide subscription licensing. The components of the VCF bundle include:

Description: Workstation Fusion VMware vSphere Foundation VMware Site Recovery Manager VMware Load Balancer vSAN Enterprise VMware Firewall VMware Tanzu Intelligence Horizon ACC-RI intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Carahsoft Technology Corp. utilizing the authority at FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) for DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, when the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source, or, from only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements when it is likely that award to any other source would result in Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency’s requirements.

The anticipated award date is on or before 10 January 2025. Interested parties should identify themselves in writing with a capability statement to Contract Specialist, Brian Jackson at brian.n.jackson14.civ@army.mil and Contracting Officer, Irene Kremer-Palmer at irene.m.kremer-palmer.civ@mail.mil. Capability statements shall include:

company name, point of contact, address, telephone, website and email addresses, UID number, CAGE Code, Tax ID number, size category and socioeconiomic status, contract vehicles, brief description of company and its capability to perform the VMware requirement IAW the quantities stated above. Interested parties are cautioned that this Sources Sought is for information and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) / Request for Quote (RFQ).

The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to the Sources Sought. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this sources sought. Responses to this notice are due by 10:30 ET, 25 JUL 2024.
