RIA HVAC Services

This pre-solicitation synopsis is notice regarding the HVAC&R Services requirement on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. The U.S. Army Garrison – Rock Island Arsenal (USAG-RIA) has a requirement for non-personal services to provide heating, ventilating, air conditioning & refrigeration maintenance and repair. The proposed contract will be for one base year and four options years, with a six-month option to extend in accordance with FAR 52.217-8. This requirement will be a full & open competition.

Please note this is a notice that a solicitation is anticipated to be forth coming and will have all necessary documents, including a Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The PWS includes but is not limited to, providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to provide complete and full preventive maintenance and repair to HVAC&R systems at the USAG-RIA including inspections, testing, routine service, and maintenance services in accordance with prescribed manufacturer guidelines and intervals.

The solicitation is expected to be a formal source selection process by combining Technically Acceptable criteria and Trade-off criteria. The resulting contract is expected to be a Firm Fixed Price with Time & Materials Customer Line Item Number (CLIN). This synopsis should not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on part of the Government. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in the response.

The Government will not accept requests for meeting or briefings. No phone solicitations or email with regards to status of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be accepted prior to solicitation.
