Potassium Chlorate - Synopsis

Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to issue Request for Quote (RFQ) W519TC-24-R-2034 for the supply of Potassium Chlorate. Potassium Chlorate shall be provided in accordance with MIL-DTL-150 Rev E dated 5 August 2008, Grade B, Class 7. See Attachment 0001 - MIL-DTL-150 Rev E dated 5 August 2008 for further details. This requirement is projected to be a firm-fixed priced five (5) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

The projected guaranteed minimum quantity is 160,000 lbs, with a projected maximum quantity of 800,000 lbs each over the life of the contract. The most probable estimated at 362,650 lbs for the life of the contract. The RFQ will be solicited under NAICS code 325180 - Other Basic Inorganic Chemical Manufacturing as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.

All Contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award resulting from this solicitation. The RFQ and any amendments will be available electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102(a)(l); at the following internet address: https://www.sam.gov in March 2024.
