TEAD FY24 APE 1236 and APE 1400 Retorts

Please refer to Amendment 0001. The current solicitation is for Ammunition Peculiar Equipment (APE) 1236 and 1400 Deactivation Furnace Retorts requiring fabrication in accordance with the requirements of this solicitation, Purchase Description, entitled Purchase Description (PD) Fabricated Parts, APE 1236 Thick and Thin Walled retorts - APE 1400 Retort IDIQ contract.

Rev. 12-18-2023, and drawings for the 1236 and 1400 Retorts, titled 1236M2007 Rotary Kiln_Dist A and APE 1400 60 inch WP Retort_Dist A, dated 05-07-2019). This solicitation is planned to result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), five (5) year Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for the items/quantities specified; initial ordering period quantity is estimated at 2 sets of APE 1236 thick walled retort sets for the base year with 0 to 3 sets per year for the remaining four ordering periods. Estimated quantities for the APE 1400 retorts are:

0 to 1 set for the base ordering period with a quantity of 0 to 1 set for each of the remaining four ordering periods.
