PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) has a requirement for Ground Charcoal services in support of Pine Bluff Arsenal. The Government will provide Charcoal to the Awardee, who will grind the charcoal to specifications laid out in the forthcoming solicitation.

ITEM: Powdered charcoal to AA 59138 Class D 25 September 1998 (Lump Charcoal GFM)

SCOPE: This purchase description covers the requirements for ground powered charcoal made from American hardwood lump charcoal that will be Government Furnished Material (GFM). The Charcoal should specifically have a low ash content as defined below and be free of any contamination. Only Charcoal that is GFM is to be used for the grinding feedstock. No other fillers or contamination is allowed.
