Parts for BAK-14M Retractable Hook Cable Support System; Notice of Intent to Sole Source

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 115th Fighter Wing Mission Support Contracting office intends to solicit and award a sole source contract, using the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), to CURTISS-WRIGHT FLOW CONTROL SERVICE, LLC, 2550 MARKET ST, ASTON, PA 19014-3426, if funds are made available. The requirement is to provide parts for the BAK-14M Retractable Hook Cable Support System, specifically 4 EACH Support Arm and Cover Assemblies, part #9D02603-1.

The purchase description and sole source memorandum are attached. The NAICS for the requirement is 336413, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. This notice of proposed contract action is not a solicitation for quotes, bids, or proposals. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information to the point of contact no later than the date shown on this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
