The purchase description reflects the characteristics and level of quality that will satisfy the Government’s needs. The salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics that "equal" products must meet are outlined below.

73 Atlantic Signal Comtac 6 (product CT6.XCY.5C) or equivalent Tactical Headsets, 73 Invictus (Product number IVD.H04-H01.5C-01) or equivalent Dual Comm Push to Talk Adapters with the following specifications: Tactical electronic headset in coyote color with 5c downlead providing single and dual comm capability, mission specific auditory awareness setting, and wireless intercom functionality. Must have capability to adjust between mission profiles/gain settings.

Must include gel cups, helmet arc rail mounts, over the head transition band and natural interaction behavior technology. Headsets must have a 30-foot line of sight with up to 60 members having the capability to listen. Must have an adjustable length, tension adjustable, noise canceling boom microphone. Boom microphone must also be water and dust proof. Headset battery life must be up to 50 hours. Push to talk adapters are wired w/ XG100/XL200 and PRC 152 6 pin radio connectors, must be 18" and 30" leads.

Push to talk body housing must have blackened steel MOLLE clip attached to the rear, enabling mounting at the 12,3,6, or 9 o'clock positions on a plate carrier. Actuation switches must be able to re-orient for left-handed members.
