Sources Sought - Laser Engraver System

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT for the 140th Mission Support Group, Force Support Squadron at Buckley Space Force Base in Colorado to request information for market research and planning purposes. This announcement is NOT a solicitation and does not constitute a request for quotes, proposals, or bids. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify and collect information on potential sources with the capability of providing a Laser Marker System, as described in the attached Salient Characteristics.

Responses to this announcement will be used by the Government for acquisition planning and decision making. The FSC/PSC being used for this requirement is 3417 - Industrial Marking Machines, and the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code to be used for this requirement is 333517 - Machine Tool Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government is seeking to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of both small and large businesses.

A firm-fixed-price contract is contemplated. If your company is interested and possess the qualifications, capability, and responsibility to provide the product detailed in the attachment, you are encouraged to respond to this announcement with a statement of your qualifications and capability. Appropriate responses would include information such as:

1. Company information including name, Unique Entity Identification (UEI), and point(s) of contact with telephone number and e-mail address.

2. Business size and socioeconomic classifications such as designations as Large Business, Small Business, HUBZone, Woman owned, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), or Indian Owned Economic Enterprise.

3. Narrative of your company's capability to provide the services described in the attachment.

4. If there are other lasers brands that can meet the specifications attached and operate under a class I configuration please let us know.

5. All feedback is welcome including changes to the wording, structure, requirements, and tasking. Responses to this announcement must be submitted to the point of contact listed below.
