The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the following:

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

2. FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds. (Apr 1984) Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made.

No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.

CLIN 0001 QTY: 9 EA (Pending availability of funding, ALL or SOME quantities may be awarded) KC-135R Engine Cover Set (4 covers per set) Covers must be: 1. “Tambourine” type, for R-Model, CFM56 Engine 2. Made from cold weather black polyester attached to a foam padded tubular stainless-steel frame that double folds to 56” X 24” x 4”. 3. Include personalization of engine covers with aircraft tail number (to be provided at time of award) and graphics (to be provided).

4. Covers will include a pin & hinge mounting set that includes a 3/8” in diameter & 3 7/8” in length attached to a 7.25” in length & 5 inches in height hinge to secure the cover onto the engine. 5. Covers must attach to points on the engine nacelle at the 3 & 9 o’clock.
