Notice of Limiting Competition

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for urgent brand name only Spherical, Spheriglass and AG Ballotini impact beads for use at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized in accordance with FAR Subpart 9.2, Qualifications Requirements, Qualified Manufacturer List (QML), only one authorized product manufacturer, Potters Industries. This is not a request for offers.

A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
