Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for Phillips Federal Corporation service contract for inspection/troubleshooting of an inoperable waterjet in our machine shop. at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. The waterjet manufacturer, OMAX, has a proprietary contract with Phillips Federal Corp. to be their only authorized technicians for machine troubleshooting beyond basic functions. for this service.

Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
