Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for calibration of RINSTRUM C520 at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. Only one authorized supplier, Nicol Scales LP, has proprietary authorization for technical expertise to supply parts for exact compatibility, meeting technical specification and not void warranty on parts and /or equipment. for this service.

Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
