Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for sole source requirement for preventative maintenance review, calibration, verification, performance testing and commissioning of weight test equipment, for use at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. Only one authorized supplier, Chant Engineering Company Inc original manufacturer, for preventive maintenance and calibration service to equipment only authorized to be performed by their certified technicians.

Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
