Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for to modify an existing bridge crane system with previously awarded original provider to perform the install and prove-out, meeting the same regulations and with the same components according to the approved plans in place for use at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant.

Only one authorized supplier, Sievert Electric Service and Sale Company, has the material and technical ability to ensure uniform compatibility and performance. Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
