Description: This is a notice of intent to solicit a sole source requirement for full rate production contract which is IAW FAR 6.302- 1(a)(2)(ii)(A) , Only one Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Lockheed Matin is the only source capable of fulfilling the Government’s requirement for the full rate production contract.
This is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Fixed-Price-Incentive-Firm (FPIF) and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract line item numbers (CLINs).The contract is for the full rate production (FRP) for Sentinel A4 radar systems, including deployment and support. The contract will utilize FFP and FPIF CLINs for hardware production, CPFF for services, and cost no fee for travel.
The period of performance is estimated to be five years from date of contract award (April 2025 through April 2030). Description of Supplies/ Services The Sentinel radar is a major component of the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) System-of-Systems architecture.
The scope of this contract will include all incidental services, supplies, hardware, facilities, and equipment to produce and procure the remaining Sentinel A4 radars necessary to satisfy the current Sentinel A4 Army Acquisition Objective (AAO). The scope also provides for life cycle support services to include training and fielding, interim contractor support, and engineering services to counter the evolving threat. The USG intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source.
Offerors are encouraged to contact Lockheed Martin for subcontracting opportunities for this effort. This synopsis is not a request for competitive quotes and a written solicitation will not be issued to any contractor other than Lockheed Martin. This requirement is not currently fully funded; the initial award and exercise of additional options will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
