This item will be acquired for the second or subsequent time directly from the actual manufacturer as indicated. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity.

Required delivery is 720 Days after Contract Award. However, early delivery is highly encouraged. This requirement is an other than full and open competitive. One contract will be awarded as a result of this requirement. The associated NAICS Code is 335311. The solicitation will be issued on or about 10 April 2024. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.

To obtain approval, vendors must submit a SAR package, for review and approval, to the Contracting Specialist for submission to the Engineering Directorate (ED), Quality Engineering Division. Source approval must be obtained prior to being considered for contract award. Approvals are made on an individual basis for specific manufacturing location (CAGE).
