NAICS 541512 - Computer Systems Design Services - Local area network (LAN) computer systems integration design services W15QKN-25-X-13Q1 Design Architecture for scalable Campus Area Network (CAN) The US Army Contracting Command – New Jersey, on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center, is seeking information from qualified vendors to design a robust and scalable Campus Area Network (CAN) that provides high-performance connectivity and communication services to multiple buildings within the campus.
The network must support up to several hundred users per building, adhere to Department of Defense (DOD) security requirements, and be scalable for future technological upgrades or capacity increases. The scope of work includes providing a detailed architecture for a scalable CAN, secure and robust wireless connectivity solutions, and compliance with DOD security policies and regulations.
As part of the project, the vendor will be required to conduct a thorough review of the current state of the CAN and develop a comprehensive transition plan to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations during implementation.
This transition plan should include a detailed approach for migrating users, devices, and services from the existing CAN to a new and physically separate CAN, including strategies for minimizing downtime, ensuring continuity of operations, and validating that all critical services and applications are functioning as expected on the new network.
Vendors should have personnel with industry certifications such as CCIE or CCNP for technical staff, and PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certifications such as Agile or Scrum Master for project management staff.
Proposed solutions should demonstrate compliance with applicable DOD and federal cybersecurity standards, ensure interoperability with existing systems, include estimated rough order of magnitude (ROM) costs, and promote environmentally sustainable and energy-efficient networking solutions. Interested parties shall provide the name of the Company-include contact person's name, company address, telephone numbers (voice and fax), e-mail address, company’s CAGE Code and DUNS number. Sources must be registered and certified with the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov. In addition, please provide a response to the following questions:
1. How many simultaneous projects with a similar scope has your company successfully completed within the past 3 years?
2. How many of the above projects were completed as a prime contractor? How many as a subcontractor?
3. Please provide your business status (for example, large business, small business, women-owned, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran owned, 8(a), etc.) 4. If applicable, please provide your company’s SBA Program entrance and exit dates. 5. Finally, please indicate whether or not the Company maintains any Government-wide contracts, such as GSA contracts, CHESS contracts, or NASA SEWP contracts (as examples).
