Call for Participants - PdD CSW Vendor Demonstration Day 2024 - W15QKN-24-Z-0Z3O

Product Director Crew Served Weapons (PdD CSW) is hosting an invitation-only, Vendor Demonstration Days at Strongpoint Shooting Complex (Waverly Hall, GA) May 21-22, 2024. The purpose of the event is to conduct market research, to inform future Government requirements, for Future Generation Medium and Heavy Machine Gun efforts and novel technologies for future and/or legacy weapon systems. Vendor Demonstration Days are also an opportunity for Industry partners and government entities to obtain direct customer feedback from Stakeholders and other participants. The expected technologies may include, but are not be limited to:

recoil management, novel materials (for weight reduction/increased durability/lubricious coatings), suppressors/barrel technologies, optics stabilization, intelligent shot counters, target tracking software, reduced range ammunition, fire control and the like. Participating vendors/government entities can choose to either host a static display, conduct live-fire events, or both. Participants are encouraged to partner with weapons/ammunition OEMs.

The Government will not provide any weapons or ammunition for use or demonstration.

Participants may present their concepts, prototypes, and hardware to Government Stakeholders such as: PEO Soldier, PM Soldier Lethality, PdD Crew Served Weapons, PdM Small Arms Fire Control, Maneuver - Capability Development Integration Directorate, Maneuver Requirements Division, Army Futures Command, Soldier Lethality Cross Functional Team, Combat Capabilities Development Command - Armaments Center, Special Operations Command and various others.

Vendors interested in participating shall complete the attached form and submit it to the indicated Points of Contact. Together with this form, applicants may provide supporting information concerning their prospective demonstration provided it does not exceed five letter-size pages. The Government reserves the right to invite or revoke vendor invitations to this event. The invitee list will be based on the prospective needs/interest of the Government Stakeholders.

Participant information must be submitted no later than February 24, 2024 to be considered for an invitation. Further guidance, maps, instructions, and timelines will be provided to the invitees. No contract award is intended, nor it shall be expected, as a result of these Vendor Demonstration Days. Any response to Vendor Demonstration Days is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract award. Participation is completely voluntary.

The Government will not be responsible for any expense incurred by any Vendor Demonstration Days’ participant. The Government will not pay for any information received. All travel and other associated costs shall be assumed by each participant. Absence from the Vendor Demonstration Days does not preclude participation in any future solicitations, if any are issued.
