FIRE CONTROL COMPUTER III (FCCIII)

The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of The Office of Project Lead Tactical Artillery Systems (PL-TAS), intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a new sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) delivery orders for Fire Control Computer III (FCCIII) to DRS Network & Imaging Systems, LLC (DRS) , 100 N. Babcock Street, Melbourne, Florida 32935-6715.

The Justification & Approval (J&A) addresses substantial duplication of cost and unacceptable delays to the Government. Authority for this procurement is under Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) Section 3204(a)(4); as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
