AC Metal and Wood Finishing

The purposed effort will address Combat Capabilities Development Command-Armaments Center (DEVCOM-AC) Prototype Integration Facility (PIF) and its customers increased research and development initiatives have placed additional demand on manufacturing of prototypes and small quantity fabrication and manufacturing for Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP).

The contractor shall provide specialized services to include performing processes to support the painting and finishing of prototype and limited low-rate production hardware in support of DEVCOM-AC. The contractor shall supply a wide range of processes may include one or many of the finishing processes described in MIL?STD-171F --Finishing of Metal and wood surfaces. (These Military Specs may be replaced by commercial specifications). Specific requirements will be outlined in each call order.

Additionally, all contractors shall provide certificates of conformance in accordance with the statement of work (SOW). To maintain demanding research and development (R and D) program schedules and deliveries, qualified vendors must be readily available for quick turn-around of requirements. The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to extend the solicitation closing date from 17 January 2024, 15:00 hours EST to 31 January 2024, 15:00 hours EST. The purpose of Amendment 0002 is the following:1.
