Service and Maintenance for Auto Reactor

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey awarded the requirement for Service and Maintenance for Auto Reactor on a sole source basis to Mettler-Toledo Autochem, Inc. (Mettler Toledo), 6708 Alexander Bell Drive, Suite 100, Columbia, MD 21046-3386, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). A sole source justification under FAR 13.105-(a)(1)(ii) was approved for this requirement and published June 30, 2022 on SAM.gov under Notice ID W15QKN-22-Q-0027.

Firm fixed price contract W15QKN-22-C-0071 was awarded to Mettler Toledo for a base period of performance, and two option periods.

The base contract was awarded on September 13, 2022 for performance ending July 10, 2023. Modification P00001 was issued March 23, 2023 to exercise Option 1 for the period of performance starting July 11, 2023 through July 10, 2024. At this time Modification P00002 is being issued to exercise Option 2 for the period of performance starting July 11, 2024 through July 10, 2025. Modification P00002 will also reduce the total contract price by $1,727.48 due to service and support ending on one of the configurations effective December 31, 2024.
