Intent to Sole Source - Cadaver Training

This is a notice that the Government intends to Sole Source to Combat Medical Systems LLC for cadavers and training as specified below:

Special Operations Command North (SOCNORTH) SHALL train Independent Duty Corpsmen (IDC), Fleet Marine Force Corpsman (FMF), Special Operations Tactical Medics (SOTMs) Special Operation Combat Medics (SOCMs), Special Operations Medical Sergeants (18D), SOF support troops, and other Special Operations Medical Providers and conventional support personnel.

Perfused cadaver training gives the realistic model of human anatomy to train the medics and other SOF support personnel on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), surgical procedures, and Prolonged Casualty Care (PCC). The full scope of the requirement can be found in the attached draft PWS. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
