This special notice is a Request for Information (RFI), it is released by NSF in support of the Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) prime vendor, Leidos Inc., to maximize potential distribution. NSF is not the focal point for this RFI, please direct any communications to the points of contact identified in this notice's attachment. This RFI concerns the potential establishment of a satellite ground station in New Zealand such that data links may be established to and from South Pole Station and other United States Antarctic Program locations. Important dates are highlighted below:
July 22, 2024: Deadline to submit questions.
July 25, 2024:
Time: 4PM Eastern Time (July 26, 2024 8AM New Zealand Time) Leidos hosted call to respond to questions and any additional follow-on questions interested parties may have.
August 16, 2024:
Time: 5PM Eastern Time (August 16, 2024 9AM New Zealand Time) RFI response deadline.
