The Defense Logistics Agency will acquire a one-time procurement of NSN:1730-01-474-1646GA, P/N:

42305-3, Internal Rescue Hoist and NSN:

5930-01-476-1837GA, P/N: 42305-723, Control Switch (Pendant) in support of the UH-1N Aircraft. The proposed contract action will be contracted sole source to Hornet Acquisition Co, LLC d.b.a Onboard systems, CAGE:3HRL4, pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Drawings/Data are not available from the procuring activity. SPRWA1-25-Q-0009 will be a written request for proposal for a firm-fixed price requirement contract for estimated quantity of 18 Each and 2 Each respectively to the NSN's above. The anticipated award date is:

26 Sept 2025. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within 30 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis/solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Based upon market research, the Government is anticipating using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interestd persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement within 15 days of this notice.
