This requirement is for the AIC-28 Public Address Amplifier on the E-3 E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS). This is part of the advanced communication systems, enabling secure and reliable communication with other aircraft, ground stations, and command centers.
Impediment to Competition: The original equipment manufacturer for this item is Astronics, which was developed specifically for the E-3’s mission and operational requirements. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement.
A copy of the solicitation will be available on 1 April 2025 RFQ SPRWA1-25-Q-0005 posted to SAM/gov for 30 days closing 1 May 2025. The Government intends to solicit 5996-01-600-0981 255-402 AIC-28 Public Address Amplifiers QTY: 5ea from Cage 3E2Y8 Astronics. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency
