NOTICE FOR HELLFIRE (HF) AND JOINT-AIR-TO-GROUND MISSILE (JAGM). This is a synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.101 for the following contract modification. This synopsis is not a request for proposal or information, and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement.
The Defense Logistics Agency, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama intends to complete a modification to subsumable Lockheed Martin Corporation contract SPRRA2-22-D0011 to include Hellfire Family of Missiles support (JAGM) under the existing missile transition support. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
This acquisition was originally synopsized on 23 March 2022. A competitive Fixed Price contract was awarded to Lockheed Martin for training, Integrated Product Support Teams (IPT) meetings, depot level maintenance, troubleshooting repair and support for the HELLFIRE Family of Missiles. This contract modification is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C.
Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Lockheed Martin Corporation is the designer, developer, and manufacturer of the HELLFIRE Family of Missiles (including JAGM). Lockheed Martin CAGE 04939 is the only known source that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfil the requirements specified. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by sending a response and detailed capability briefing to the POC listed below.
Interested parties must submit evidence of missile design maturity commensurate with a post-Critical Design Review (CDR) design and compatible with HELLFIRE and JAGM. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the expense of the interested party.
