PRON: AX5C0697AX. The Government proposes to acquire on a one time buy Fixed Price for a quantity of sixty (60) each of Actuator, Electromec, NSN:

1680-01-585-6354, Part Number: 145C6100-5 applicable to the CH-47 Chinook Helicopter Weapon system. Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing is 1,215 Days After Contract Award (DACA). PLT without First Article Testing is 810 DACA with deliveries to Tracy, CA, 95304-5000. This item is restricted to the following:

THE BOEING COMPANY, CAGE CODE: 77272 The technical data for this part has undergone full screening per DFARS PGI 217.7506, Spare Parts Breakout Program. The assigned AMC/AMSC is 3P. It mandates the rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer this part.

As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) – having only a limited number of responsible sources. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves.

Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by visiting: https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/TechDataMgmt/ and look under Source Approval Request (SAR) guidance. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the data stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
