Camouflage (Camo) Automated Robotic Paint Line System

This acquisition is a Warstopper Program investment into an Automated Camouflage Fabric Painting System for the Fitted Cover/Doors commodity, on an other than full and open competition basis. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 3204(a)(3) or 41 U.S.C.

3304(a)(3), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-3(a)(2)(i), “to maintain a facility, producer, manufacturer, or other supplier available for furnishing supplies or services in case of a national emergency or to achieve industrial mobilization.” The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) needs to maintain a manufacturing source for production of woodland camo fabric to ensure industrial base is capable of meeting wartime service requirements. This acquisition was sole source to GTA Containers. The total Not-To-Exceed (NTE) price of this acquisition is $2,200,000.00..
