One (1) Sodick ALN600G-TH Wire Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM)

DLA Aviation intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 13.5. This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria.

Description of requirements: One (1) Sodick ANL600G-TH Wire EDM in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 25-13-1301 dated 2 May 2025. Performance period/completion 89 days after receipt of order. FOB, Inspection, and Acceptance at Destination.

Destination is Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA 22448. The complete technical data package for VIBB 25-13-1301 dated including machine, IUID tags, training, tech data (i.e. manuals) and shipping will be included as a part of the solicitation. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. RFQ SPE4A8-23-Q-0013 [CB1] is anticipated to be issue on or around 9 June 2025 .
