DLA Aviation Richmond intends to issue a sole source solicitation to procure five (5) Makino F5 Pro6 Vertical Machining Centers with contract completion required in 465 days after award. Complete technical data package VIBB 25-40-1001 including all technical data, tooling, accessories, installation, foundation, training, shipping and IUID requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation.

Request for Proposal SPE4A8-25-Q-0063 is intended to be issued around 09 May 2025 and close around 8 June 2025. FOB will be at Destination. Inspection at Origin/Acceptance at Destination. This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue the contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), other than full and open competition and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603.

The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria. Award shall result in a Firm, Fixed Price Contract. This solicitation and award will be made under FAR 13.5 procedures.
