Notice of Intent to Sole Source -SOACS Radio Repair

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: (THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE) The 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron, Cannon AFB, New Mexico intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to L3Harris Global Communications, Inc. Cage Code:7QAK7, Address: 1350 Jefferson Rd. / Rochester, NY 14610 / USA. L3Harris will provide repair/upgrade service for 9 each PRC-117G.

L3Harris will Upgrade 5xPRC-117G (-7) Radios that are out of warranty and require upgrade.The repairs/upgrade shall provide and install approved parts, software, and firmware and shall repair the units in accordance with the L3Harris established technical specifications. L3Harris Small Tactical Terminal (STT) are exclusively designed, maintained and manufactured by L3Harris as their proprietary right.

This purchase will be made under FAR Part 12 Commerical, FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Other than Full and Open Competition and using FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Please note that this is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing a complete information describing their ability to provide the products listed above.

A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this notice is 29 July 2024 at 4:30PM (MDT).
