PEP Ring Road North Paving Project The PEP Ring Road North Paving scope consists of paving and completing roadside improvements to make site roads safer and more robust for drivers and bike riders. The Subcontractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform the work indicated in these specifications.

The work includes but is not limited to the following tasks: Drainage/eroded area demolition and earthwork Preparing road surface Grind existing pavement Repave roadway Roadside improvements Restripe pavement markings Utility structures Potential bidders will need to meet all the necessary criteria outlined in Section L of the draft RFP. A partial list of the required criteria includes the following:

The Offeror must have an established local office for a minimum of 3 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. The San Francisco Bay Area is defined as the following 10 counties: Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Sonoma, Solano, and Santa Cruz Counties. The Offeror must have previous experience executing federally funded projects. The SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (SLAC) is operated by Stanford University as a contractor for the United States Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science (SC). SLAC supports a large national and international community of scientific users performing innovative research in support of the DOE mission.
