Intent to Sole Source to TPS Tactical

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source, firm-fixed price, contract with TPS Tactical, headquartered in Texas. The purpose of the contract is to procure a Tactical Panel System (TPS), which is a modular training system custom made as to customer specs.

This system allows for varied customer layout customizations, allowing trainers to establish their training space to meet the desired intent of the day’s tactical training. Panels must have passed testing with UTM training munitions including marking and non-marking rounds, with no damage observed to the materials.

In consideration of the type of Government Funding being used to procure this requirement, materials must be green in nature and adhere to the strict requirements as it pertains to Sustainable Acquisition. TPS Tactical demonstrates unique panel system manufacturing and products that have the capability to meet the FBI’s requirements. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by contacting Melissa Cordova at mcordova@fbi.gov via email no later than 8:00am (Eastern) on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Responses sent via other means (i.e. via telephone call, facsimile transmission, etc.) will not be considered. The Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is available upon request.
