The Air Force intends to solicit the following service: Item Description, Serv C24-016 Spindle Repair 1. 76 CMXG is requesting the utilization of funds for the Serv C24-016 Spindle Repair. 2. The requested descriptions/specifications are outlined below.

1.1 Scope: The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, material, parts, quality control, transportation and inspection manuals necessary to perform the one time repair and Remedial Maintenace of Milling Spindle Repair for CNC Toyoda FV2090 Spindle for the Oklahoma City–Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC) at the Contractor’s off-site facility. The equipment is listed in Appendix A/GFP attachment.

1.1.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring all services, parts and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) components provided under this contract are in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions outlined herein, conform to the manufacturer’s equipment specifications and this PWS.

1.2 Known Problems: Mill, Vertical CNC needs spindle unit rebuild for a larger CNC machine system. Bearings have failed and require replacement as well.

1.3 Requested Services: The Contractor shall provide one time Repair to include but not limited to the following.

Evaluation and repair of Toyoda FV2090 Spindle to consist of incoming test run and vibration Contractor shall provide Remidial Maintenance for CNC machine listed on Appendix A The Contractor shall provide inspection of all components to determine scope of rework to bring all components to OEM specification or better. analysis (if spindle is in runnable condition), assembled spindle inspection, disassembly and cleaning of spindle and all components. Failure analysis determination and reporting.

Inspection of all components. Replacement of new precision bearings, rewind stator/field, two stage balance, assembly, test run, vibration analysis, QC and crating. Spindle shaft ID taper rework . For further information contact: Sondra Callaway Contracting Specialist sondra.callaway@us.af.mil
