Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Satellite Processing and Integration Facility Support

The Space Development Agency (SDA) intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to Space X (CAGE 9ADW9), for a satellite processing and integration facility to accommodate up to 21 satellites and associated dispenser hardware. This facility will support post-transport functional testing as required, satellite mechanical and electrical mates to the dispenser hardware, and integrated payload stack encapsulation.

The planned firm fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded in September 2024. The contract period of performance will be 315 days with a total estimated value of $10M. This contract award will be made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 3204 (a)(1).
