Description

As published on SAM.gov.

This Request for Information (RFI) is solely to gather information from qualified contractors regarding the assessment and upgrade of the burglar and fire alarm monitoring systems, as well as the video surveillance systems at the National Technology and Development Program (NTDP) facility. The RFI aims to identify potential contractors, understand their qualifications and experiences, and gather technical proposals to address the security and safety needs of the NTDP facility.

Additionally, it provides an opportunity for contractors to provide input and recommendations on the project before formal proposals are requested. As a result of this RFI, the Forest Service National Technology & Development Program (NTDP) may contact respondents for an invitation to an Industry Day. Interested contractors are invited to participate in an Industry Day where they can showcase their products and services for burglar, fire alarm, and video surveillance systems at the NTDP facility.

This Industry Day will provide an opportunity for respondents to gain a firsthand understanding of the existing systems and site layout, as well as to interact with NTDP representatives. Vendors who do not receive an invitation to participate may show up without an invitation but, due to time constraints, are not guaranteed an opportunity to provide a technical demonstration. The Government will not pay for, nor reimburse, any expenses incurred in responding to this RFI or participating in the Industry Day, if invited.
